Workouts That Burn Fat Quickly

It’s the problem that most of us face: how do you burn fat quickly when you don’t have a lot of time to spare? Well it’s possible because the secret isn’t how long you work out but the intensity. The following workouts should not take more than 10 to 15 minutes at Planet Fitness, but you’ll get great results without burning you out.

Superset Compound

If you’re at Koko Fit Club, try some superset compound routines. This means doing all the reps for one routine then do all the reps for another. Perform them immediately one after the other, take a few seconds rest and repeat.

Perform 2 to 3 sets, alternating them for maximum results. This will do wonders for your cardio and fat burning. This might be difficult at the start but you should stick with it and you’ll shed off those pounds.

Time Based Reps

Instead of the usual 8 to 10 reps, set your timer to 60 seconds and do as many reps as you can. You’ll develop greater resistance to fatigue plus you’ll burn more fats and calories this way. You’ll feel sore the first few times but persevere and you’ll be better for it.

Time based reps boost your endurance so you’ll find it easier to do straight sets. This workout also makes you less vulnerable to fatigue.

60 seconds is just one example. You can do 30 seconds, 120 seconds, you decide. Just try this and you’ll feel the difference in just a few weeks.

Do Alternate Strength and Cardio Workouts

Alternating these two is one of the most effective ways to build stamina, strength and endurance. You could for example, perform cardio workouts like jumping jacks, running, mountain climb and burpees on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. On alternate days you’ll do push ups, shoulder press, deadlift, squats and lunges.

The alternate approach is effective because you work out all the major muscle groups in your body. If you’re up to it you can do both on the same day, alternating each one so you do jumping jacks followed by a shoulder press and so on. Change your routines every so often and you’ll benefit from your workouts more.

Burning body fat quickly without spending hours in the gym isn’t a pipe dream. On the contrary it’s all about making the most of your time. Using this approach you’ll get rid of those calories in no time.
