What Equipment is Required?
P90x3 needs only the minimum number of equipment, namely a medicine or stability ball, a yoga mat, a pull-up bar, resistance bands, and dumbbells of different weights. A good pair of cross training shoes is also recommended instead of running shoes since you’ll be doing a lot of lateral movements.
The workouts in the P90x3 are 30 minutes long with a cool down period of 2 to 3 minutes per session. The only exception to this rule is Ab Ripper X3 which just takes 15 minutes to complete. All the workouts are to be finished in blocks of three, and each one takes 4 to 5 weeks to complete, or to be more specific the first two blocks take 4 weeks and the last one 5 weeks.
If you want to continue with the P90x3 program after it’s done, just follow the calendar and continue for another four weeks. Apart from the block schedule you can also opt for the other workout schedules namely Mass, Doubles, Lean and Classic.
