The Virgin Active chain prides itself on offering something good for everybody. Such claim may sound boastful, if not arrogant, but in true Richard Branson style, the chain delivers and delivers well! There are three types of membership that interested individuals can avail of.
First, RED is touted as an innovative concept or a new gym kind. The approach is no fuss, no frills, and no holds barred so clients can train hard and harder on top-of-the-line exercise equipment, which including ICG bikes in the Virtual Ride Studio and training area. The clients can also avail of free workout plans, choose from the 40-plus group training sessions, and access the Internet via free Wi-Fi.
Second, the Virgin Active Health Clubs are designed for individuals and families with different fitness goals. You may, for example, train for a 10-kilometer marathon, or for a mountain climbing expedition, or even for raising a healthier family with a more active lifestyle.
Membership in the Virgin Active Health Clubs include full access to the top-of-the-line exercise equipment, group training classes, and swimming pools, as well as the saunas and steam rooms. There’s even a Club-V for children!
Third, the Virgin Active Collection consists of several luxury health clubs. Aside from the full access to the facilities and amenities, members will also enjoy the world-class services of a Collection Concierge who will cater to their fitness needs. There are also a shoeshine bar and boardroom facilities because who says that exercise and executive functions don’t mix together?
The Virgin Active approach is holistic wherein it isn’t just about exercising well but, more importantly, about eating and living well, too. The staff members and personal trainers in each fitness club provide comprehensive information on fitness and diet-related matters without sounding like know-it-all people.
The group classes are conducted in spacious and luxurious rooms, too. These include yoga (Calm, Strength, and Align) and Pilates, Iron Zuu (weight training and mobility exercises), and Pack classes (cycling). Be sure to book your preferred classes because these are so popular that you may not find a spot if you’re a walk-in client.
Keep in mind that the Virgin Active prices may not include the personal trainer fees since these are considered one-on-one sessions; you and your personal trainer have to discuss an agreeable price for both parties.
