Cam Gigandet Workout 2020

Learn from one of the most fit actors in Hollywood and get your body into shape. If you want a really lean form with ripped abs then it pays to take note of Cam Gigandet’s workout plan. The actor is best known for starring in films such as Easy A, Never Back Down, The Roommate and the smash hit Twilight.

The actors from Twilight are known for having enviable physiques and Gigandet is definitely no exception. What makes the Washington state native different, however, is that he was already in amazing form before cast as a Twilight star.

In the movie Never Back Down, his body-fat ratio was really low at 3 percent. It’s no wonder plenty of men want to know more about his workout secrets. The guy has an eight-pack so he does know a thing or two about achieving a fit body.

Warming Up

To start your work out the way Gigandet likes it, begin exercising with light cardio routines. This can include exercises like getting to run on the treadmill which is always a fantastic way to warm up. Warming up with cardio routines is also a good idea because you get to tone you muscles and activates your core.

The actor is not really into the usual exercise routines so don’t expect to do a lot of squats, bench press and barbell work when trying to emulate his exercise formula. What you should do instead is copy Gigandet’s style of mixing compound and isolation workouts. Doing so will stimulate your muscles in various ways. This will help you achieve maximum output using less time.

Endurance Versus Strength

Furthermore, to copy the Twilight star’s workout routine, make sure you put more emphasis on endurance instead of focusing too much on strength. This means you should do more reps with lighter weights than lifting heavier weights while doing less reps. If you do this you can get the celeb’s lean form since you avoid getting too bulky.

What you get instead of mass is a chiselled appearance with plenty of ripped muscles. Another added bonus of focusing on endurance over strength is you will get to increase your metabolism. Your body will have an easier time getting rid of extra fat.

The Hot Actor Workout

At first glance Cam Gigandet’s workout may not seem so difficult. Keep in mind, however, that it contains plenty of reps and sets. For the exercises outlined below that requires weights, make sure you select a weight that’s neither too light nor too heavy. And as with all exercise plans, drink plenty of water.

Day 1: Do 1 set of push-ups with 25 reps. You may begin with standard push-ups. If you find that this workout is too easy then you can adjust by doing more advanced workouts like Plyo push-ups.

Next, do 3 sets of Nautilus Presses. Do 45, 55 and 65 reps. Make sure to add more weight after each set. Follow this up with Nautilus Incline Presses, doing 3 sets containing 55, 65 and then 70 reps.

End the day working out with Pec Deck Machine. Aim for 5 sets with 40, 45, 50, 55 and 60 reps.

Day 2: Begin the day just like you did with Day 1. Complete 25 push-ups and if this is too easy, do Plyo push-ups instead. Next in line are 3 sets of Seated Rows, comprising of 75, 80 and 85 reps. As always, add more weight after each set.

Afterwards, do 3 sets of Lat Pull Downs containing 85, 90 and 95 reps. Finally, complete 3 sets of T-Bar Rows. Aim for 50, 55 and 60 reps. You’re done for the day.

Day 3: Begin this day differently than the first two by doing 3 sets of Arnold Presses. Aim for 35 reps per set. Next, complete 3 sets of Standing Lateral Raises. Do 15 reps per set. End your exercise for the day right with 3 sets of Standing Front Raises. Each set should be made up of 10 reps.

Day 4: Begin the fourth day with 3 sets of Nautilus Curl Machine. Shoot for 20, 25 and 30 reps. Proceed to the next challenge by completing 3 sets of Ez Curl Cable. Make sure you do 30, 35 and 40 reps. And don’t forget to add more weight after each set.

Afterwards, do 3 sets of Hammer Curls containing 15, 20 and 25 reps. End the day like the celeb with 3 sets of Push Downs. Shoot for 30, 35 and 40 reps, adding more weight after each set.

Day 5: This is an all-cardio day. Run on the treadmill for 45 minutes with the setting at 65 – 75 percent MHR.

Finishing Off

Day 6 should be a day of rest. You need to keep in mind that it’s important to choose a weight that makes your body comfortable. Never add so much weights that you’re letting go of the right form. This can lead to injury and diminished results.

Gigandet’s workout is effective in achieving a lean and ripped physique because of the high amount of reps and sets. With a high-protein diet and by eating several small meals a day instead of three large ones, you’ll be looking Hollywood-ready in no time.
